Jamal is the lab Operations Manager where he manages the daily operations of Intel Research Pittsburgh and provides program support. He works together with the Lab Director and the Associate Director to manage the lab. Additionally, he provides operations support to Intel Research Central Operations and Intel Research External Programs. Jamal holds M.S. in Management of Science and Technology from Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Engineering (OGI). Since Joining Intel in 1994, Jamal has worked in TMG (Technology & Manufacturing Group) in various Fab and Sort areas as manufacturing supervisor, Manufacturing Operations Manager, Engineering Module owner and Manufacturing Systems Engineer focusing on improving manufacturing systems and quality systems. Additionally, Jamal completed some graduate course work toward PhD with interest in innovation management and technology transfer management.
